Charles B. Wade
Age 93, of DeKalb, formerly of Melrose Park.
Beloved husband of the late Dorothea P. Wade nee Mueller.
Loving father of twin sons, Robert (Lilioza) and Richard (Marcia) Wade.
Dear grandfather of Jamie Ann (Brent) Becker, Randi Wade, and Piotr (Elzbieta) Hamowski.
Cherished great grandfather of Charles Wade Becker, Dominik Hamowski, and Damian Hamowski.
Beloved brother of Edna Love.
Uncle and grand uncle of many.
Charles was preceeded in death by his parents, William Bernard Wade and Anna Belle Wade nee Duff, his sister Leona Boyd, and his twin brother Jesse Clyde (who passed away during infancy).

Charles was the owner of J.P. Hardware Store of Melrose Park for 45 years.
He proudly served his country by joining the Navy during WWII from 1943 through 1946.
Charles was a fifty year member of the Izaak Walton League, where he served as treasurer for 35 years.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Apostles Lutheran Church 10429 Fullerton Ave., Melrose Park, Il 60164.

Visitation Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9568 Belmont Ave., Franklin Park.

Charles will be lying in state at Apostles Lutheran Church on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 10:00 am until the time of the service 11:00 am.

Interment Irving Park Cemetery.
