Douglas Jusich

March 23, 1986 — July 11, 2019

Dr. Douglas Arthur Jusich, 33, passed away on Thursday, July 11th. Doug lived in Des Plaines, Illinois with his loving wife Megan. He was born in Texas and lived in Naperville throughout most of his life. Doug held a bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois University and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine degree from National University of Health Sciences. He loved spending time with family, friends, and pets alike. Doug had a passion for boxing, hunting, and movies. He was driven, passionate, and most of all loving.

He was an incredibly loyal friend, husband, brother, son, and grandson. Doug had a flair for conversation and bringing people together. He was playful, funny, passionate, and had an exuberant zest for life and love.

Dr. Jusich passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in Michigan where he was beginning his career with his dream job in medical sales. He was incredibly happy and proud to be starting this new venture.
Dr. Doug Jusich is survived by his wife Megan, father Frank Jusich, mother Janet Jusich, brother Frank Jusich, and his wife Darcy, sister Jenna Jusich, Grandma June, Susan and Monroe Bailey, Max, George, Theodore and Lenny and many friends and family.

A memorial visitation for friends and family will be held on Tuesday, July 16th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM followed by a memorial service beginning at 7:00 PM. Services for Dr. Doug Jusich will be held at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home at 9568 Belmont Avenue, Franklin Park, IL 60131.

Doug's big heart and giving spirit always drew him to fight for the underdog and one of his hopes and dreams was to someday help underprivileged youth choose boxing and positive role models.
