Beloved son of Judy (nee Byrnes) Zajac and Ted (Pat) Zajac, Sr.
Loving brother of Patti, Cathy and Ted, Jr. (Joan).

Cherished uncle of Nicole, Marissa, Anthony, Stephanie (Kevin) Sullivan, Laura and Heidi (Francisco) Ponce. Great uncle of many.

Dear nephew of Bill (Arlene) Byrnes, Dave (Ruth) Byrnes, Sue (Joe) Mlynski, and Ron (Mary) Zajac.

Gary will be missed by many of his friends from the Glenkirk Community.

Gary was a devoted Chicago White Sox and Blackhawks fan and a lawn maintenance and snow removal devotee. He also enjoyed golfing and fishing and was a Gold Medal winner at the Special Olympics Track Events.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9568 Belmont Ave., Franklin Park, IL.

Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, July 6, 2017 for prayers at 9:30 a.m. before going to St. Maria Goretti Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m.
