Gerardo Abrahan

Gerardo was known as Gerry or Tito Ude to friends, co-workers and family. Born and raised in the Philippines, he moved to USA for a better life for his wife and 5 children. He found work and a home for his family, and a little over a year later, he was able to petition for his wife and children to join him in Chicago. His wife and children (and their families) are so happy that he was able to celebrate his 90th birthday and Christmas with them this past December. Gerardo was the last surviving member of his family, the last of 10 children. They are all together now.

Gerry is the loving husband of Gerasima G. Abrahan.

Dearly loved son of Bonifacio and Martina Agita Abrahan.

Devoted father to Gina Abrahan, Jovy Sacchi, Judy Nelson, Jojo Abrahan, and Jaydeelyn Koniarczyk.

Dedicated grandfather of Conrad, Carter, Zachary, Alexandra, and Joelle.

Much loved brother of Loretto Mallari, Teofista Santos, Rufina Lee, Iluminada Abrahan, Conception Francisco, Manuel Abrahan, Romulo Abrahan.

A fond uncle to many nieces and nephews, and a dear friend to many.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 9:00am until 12:00pm at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home, 9568 Belmont Ave., Franklin Park.

Interment at Rosehill Cemetery.
