In Loving Memory of Mrs. Horn M. Som

1949-2025

With heavy hearts,the family of Mrs.Horn M.Som announces her peaceful passing on November 10,2025 at the age of 76. A devoted wife,mother and grandmother,she was the heart of her family and a source of strength, grace and compassion to all who knew her.

Born in 1949,Mrs.Som lived a life defined by love,faith and kindness.Her gentle nature and selfless spirit touched many,and her devotion to her family was unwavering. She found joy in caring for others and created a home filled with warmth,understanding and enduring love.

Mrs.Som is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Hoa Tum and Am Meas,and her dear sisters, Heang Tum and Heoung Tum.

She is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her devoted husband, Seta Som, and their cherished children: Sophan Som, Sovoeun Som, Sopheap S. Urbieta, Sophea Som,Sopheak Som and Sophat Som. Her legacy of love and compassion will live on in their hearts and in the lives of all who were blessed to know her. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 15,2025 beginning at 1:00pm at the Sax Tiedemann Funeral Home, 9568 W. Belmont,Franklin Park. Traditional Cambodian Funeral rites will conclude at 4:00pm with cremation at the Monarch Crematory. Family and friends are invited to gather in her memory and offer their prayers and reflections.
