Jaime I. Delgado Aroca Jr., born on February 16, 1976, was a radiant presence in the lives of all who knew him. A bright light in a dark world whose warmth and kindness touched countless hearts. On May 13, 2026, the world bid farewell to this beautiful human being, whose infectious positivity and uplifting spirit left an indelible mark upon those around him.
A beloved son, Jaime was cherished by his mother, Ligia Azucena (Sussy) Delgado Aroca, and father (the late) Jaime I. Delgado Sr, who witnessed his journey through life with profound love and pride. He was also the devoted brother of AnneMarie (Ric) Casas, whose bond with him was one woven through laughter and shared memories. To Alexander and Chris Casas, his fondness as an uncle was a source of joy and support; a testament to the care he extended beyond immediate family.
Professionally, Jaime was a banker, a role in which he brought the same dedication and sincerity that defined his every interaction. But his passions blossomed far beyond the office’s walls. A lover of dance and song, Jaime found expression in music and movement, often weaving rhythm and melody into his days. His artistic eye was ever present, chronicling the unfolding moments of life through photographs and videos, capturing the smiles, the candid expressions, and the genuine connections that formed the foundation of his world.
His faith was his cornerstone; deeply devoted to God, Jaime sought always to live with purpose and grace. His spirit was a beacon, shining unwaveringly even in the face of life’s trials, offering solace and encouragement to anyone fortunate enough to encounter him. He truly lived through Christ, a feat that not many in this world do.
The memorial service commemorating Jaime’s life will be held on May 20, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral and Crematorium, located at 9568 Belmont Ave, Franklin Park, IL 60131. It will be a gathering to honor a man who gave so much of himself to others and whose memory will forever illuminate the lives he touched.
Jaime I. Delgado Jr. leaves behind a legacy of compassion, joy, and steadfast love. His light may have dimmed in this world, but it burns eternal in the hearts of those who loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be considered to assist with funeral and burial expenses.
