Jeanne M. Weiler (née Burianek) July 4, 1944 – March 20, 2026
Jeanne M. Weiler, lovingly known to family and friends for her kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit, passed away on March 20, 2026. She was a woman whose life was rooted in love—love for her family, her faith, and the meaningful activities that filled her days.
Jeanne was the beloved wife of the late Patrick J. Weiler and a devoted mother to Jeffrey Weiler (Tracy), Christopher Weiler, and Sharon Weiler (Steven). She was a proud grandmother of Cole Weiler and Darren Weiler who brought her great joy. She was the cherished daughter of Geraldine Lescher and Marvin Burianek, and a dear sister to Margaret Burianek. Jeanne’s love for her family was deep, and she carried her role as mother, wife, sister, and grandmother with quiet strength and unwavering devotion.
Jeanne found joy in life’s everyday beauty. She loved crafting, cooking, and tending to her garden, where patience and care reflected her gentle nature. For many years, she loved beautiful summers boating and relaxing in Wisconsin with her husband, children and grandchildren. She was an active member of the St. John Vianney Ladies Guild for over 20 years, living her faith through service, prayer, and community. Each morning began with a cup of coffee and quiet prayers—a simple ritual that grounded her and reflected her deep spirituality. Those who knew Jeanne remember her angelic, sweet smile and the warmth she extended so freely to others.
She was known for her generosity, her thoughtfulness, and her ability to make people feel truly seen and cared for. Her love extended to animals as well—especially dogs—and she took great pride in training her beloved golden retriever, Bailey, to fetch the newspaper each morning. Jeanne’s legacy is one of love, faith, and quiet strength. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
A visitation to honor Jeanne will take place Tuesday 3/24/26 at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home from 4pm to 9pm. A funeral mass at St. John Vianney Catholic Church will take place on Wednesday 3/25/26 at 11am. Interment will take place at a future date at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jeanne’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Society of the Little Flower in Darien, Illinois.
