Beloved husband of Marianne T. Mayer nee Shragal. Loving father of Jeffrey (Maureen) Mayer, Laura (Gerald) Marubio, Kenneth Mayer. Proud grandfather of Brittany, Anthony and Hunter. Dear brother of the late Margaret. Uncle of many. Joseph was a long-time member of the Midwest Street Rods. Visitation Sunday, November 16, from 3 pm to 9 pm at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium. Prayers begin 9:00 am, Monday, November 17, at Sax-Tiedemann followed by Funeral Mass, 9:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Bensenville, IL.
