Josephine Stasior

Josephine 'Joan' Stasior nee Froelich, age 99 passed away on October 15, 2017, just ten days before her 100th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Edward. Loving mother, caring aunt and friend to many.

Joan loved to read and once wrote a letter to the editor of the Chicago Tribune which was published on January 24, 2009. It was titled 'Newspaper reader' and read: I am 91 years old. The Tribune newspaper has kept me in touch with the world's news for 66 years. It is a must-have each day in my lifetime. Many thanks. -Joan Strasior, Chicago.

On Friday, October 20, family and friends will gather for visitation at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9568 Belmont Ave, Franklin Park for Visitation at 8:30 AM until time of Prayers at 9:15 AM.
