Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, from 9:30am until time of Prayer Service at 11:00am.
An 11:30am Funeral Mass will follow at St. Gertrude Church ~ 9613 Schiller Blvd, Franklin Park, IL, 60131.
Interment will follow the Funeral Mass with a Graveside Service at Mt. Carmel Cemetery ~ 1400 S. Wolf Road, Hillside, IL, 60162.

Loving husband of the late Mona Losurdo.

Beloved son of the late Mike and the late Anna Losurdo.

Devoted father to Naomi Rolfe, Peter Ellermann, and David Ellermann.

Father-in-law to Jack, Sharon, Mary, Keith, and Larry.

Cherished grandfather to Christopher, Alexis, Nicholas, Kellie, Erenn, David, Gina, Lisa, Dan, Cindi, Tara, and Tim.

Loving great-grandfather to Kyle, Claire, Thomas, Fionna, and Jack.

Dear Brother of Carlo, Pat, Maggie, and Caroline.

Brother-in-law to Mary and Bob.

Fond uncle of Michael, Frank, Carlo, Anna, Deanna, Holly, Tom, Christine, Michael Jr., Madelyn, Lorenzo, Nick, Victor, Bobby, and many more great grand nephews.

Leo served in the US Army as a Corporal. He served in Korea from March 11, 1953, to March 3, 1955.
He loved his family and would just beam when family would visit, especially his grandchildren.
Leo had two dogs, Blackie and Yukon, who he loved very much.
He enjoyed working on cars, he owned several gas stations when he returned from the army.
Leo’s last profession was working as a union truck driver, retiring when he was 70.
He went on to enjoy his life with his beloved wife Mona, whom he adored. She was the light of his life.
Leo enjoyed traveling to St. Maarten and Hawaii.

He was a treasure to all that met him, and best friend to Art and Doris.
He was a father that was always there when we needed him.
Leo loved his neighbors and friends, and they loved him as well.
Anyone that knows Leo would say he was the most beautiful, giving soul God put on this great earth.
