Linda Cordova

April 30, 1945 — December 25, 2017

Linda M. Cordova (nee Peters), of Aurora, IL, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 25, 2017 at the age of 72.
Linda was born to parents William and Mary (Powers) Peters on April 30, 1945.
She grew up the eldest of three in Schiller Park, IL and attended East Leyden High School. Linda was an accomplished business woman and entrepreneur. Her professional career began in the early 1970's as a bookkeeper at a local furniture store, and, flourished throughout her lifetime until she retired after 20 years of service as an Executive at World Dryer Corporation. Even after retirement, her entrepreneurial spirit could not be contained as she ventured into her own business, Impressionaire.
Linda enjoyed travel, golf (even once getting the elusive hole in one!), movies, music, and television. She was a cancer survivor and lung transplant recipient. She had an amazing outlook and positive attitude in every aspect of her life.
Linda is survived by her beloved Husband, Randy M. Cordova. Loving Mother of Kristine (Mario Gilio) Hernandez, Kimberly (Joe) Mantegna, Patrick (Beth Wiel) Kilbryde, and step-mother of Courtney Cordova. Cherished Grandmother of Stephanie and Samantha Hernandez, Gianna Mantegna, Matthew Ulberg, and, Alexandra and Joseph Mantegna. Sister of Elaine (Ed) Kolasa and Mary Lou (John) Sarkis. Aunt of Jeremy Kolasa and Danny Robinson and cousin of many. She is preceded in death by her parents William and Mary, and, treasured step-daughter Casey Cordova.
Family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Linda's life on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 6-9 pm at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home located at 9568 Belmont Avenue, Franklin Park, IL 60131. Linda's final resting place will be at The First United Methodist Church of Arlington Heights, 1903 E. Euclid Ave., Arlington Heights, Il 60004. www.fumcah.com.
