Linda "Sue" Schuyler

Linda "Sue" Schuyler (nee Schmidt), aged 71, passed away on August 16,2024, in Schiller Park, Illinois. 
Born on July 1, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois, Sue was a cherished community member. 
She was a devoted horticulture enthusiast, having studied the subject at Triton College, and worked for Amlings and Pesches Garden and flower shops. 

Sue was a person of many passions, which included her son Michael, her grandsons, Michael and Ryan, cherished dog Murphy. 
She loved gardening, sewing, cooking, nature and of course her daily fix of Jeopardy. 
These things brought her joy, and she was eager to share them with those around her. 
Her love for life was matched only by her love for her family and friends. 

Sue was a devoted mother to Michael (Sarah) and the late Nickolas (Rebecca); cherished "Pink" grandmother to Michael and Ryan; dear sister of Michael Schmidt. 
Beloved cousin and friend to many.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband Carl, son Nickolas, mother Patricia Mann (nee Connolly), stepfather Stuart Mann and father Michael Schmidt. 

A celebration of life for Sue will be held at The Great Escape Restaurant located at 9540 Irving Park Road, Schiller Park, IL 60176 on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 1:00pm. 
The gathering will serve as a place for friends and family to honor her memory and the impact she had on everyone she met. 
Sue's legacy of warmth, kindness and the dedication to her passions will be remembered by all who knew her.
