Maria Antonia (Cervi) Gumino born in Italy September 3, 1938, to Anthony and Lucia (Gentile) Cervi, died surrounded by grandchildren on April 19, 2026. 
Married to the late Casmir Gumino in 1958, Maria and Casmir went on to have three sons, Mario (Karen), Anthony, and Joseph (Kimberly).
She went on to be a proud and loving grandmother to Anthony (Jessica), Nicco (Kelsey), Gino (Aly’ssa), Nicole, Brian, Kimberly, Frankie, and Marissa, along with many great-grandchildren. 

As homemaker her entire life she filled her entire home with Italian foods, grew food in her garden, enjoyed sewing, and attending mass.
Being able to pass recipes on to her grandchildren and cook homemade recipes with ingredients from her garden brought her great joy, especially while helping to raise some of them.

Maria is survived by her sister Loretta (Kenneth) Zawadzki, Son Joseph (Kimberly) Gumino, Grandchildren Anthony (Jessica) Gumino, Nicco Gumino (Kelsey Wargo), Gino (Aly’ssa) Gumino, Nicole Gumino, Brian Gumino, Kimberly Gumino, Frankie Gumino, Marissa Gumino, along with many great grandchildren.

Maria is proceeded in death by her parents Anthony and Lucia (Gentile) Cervi, brother Orlando (Dolores) Cervi, and two brothers who died in childhood, husband Casmir Gumino, two sons Mario Gumino, Anthony Gumino, and great-granddaughter Aysa.

The family would like to thank the staff at Citadel at Casa Scalabrini and Residential Hospice for their care for Maria in her final stages of life.
