Nyman, Marion Elaine

Marion Elaine Nyman (nee Gluck), 95, of Evanston, formerly of Barrington, IL passed away on December 16, 2014. Daughter of Otto and Olga Gluck, beloved wife of Eugene and mother of Laura Nyman Montenegro (Michael) and Andra Nyman (Paul Fink). Cherished grandmother of Sonya and Nina Montenegro. Survived by her children and grandchildren. Marion studied education at Pestalozzi Teachers College, Columbia College in Chicago and Northeastern University-Chicago. She taught in several early childhood programs and worked for the Chicago Public Library. She was a successful painter, exhibiting her artwork throughout the Chicago area. She helped establish the Worship and Arts Convocation and Orchesis groups at the Community Church of Barrington. Interment private. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 25 at 11:00 AM at the Community Church of Barrington, 407 Grove Ave., Barrington, IL.
