Mary J. Windt

Mary J. Windt (née Zak) passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the age of 90. 
Mary was the devoted wife of the late Lewis T. Windt and beloved daughter of the late Victor and Joanna Zak. 
Mary was the youngest of 13 siblings with one surviving sister, Euginia Larsen age 96. 
Her legacy lives on through her loving daughters Barbara (Peter) Gallo and Brenda Thomas. 
She was a cherished grandmother "Polar Bear" to Kristi (Matthew) Gallo-Bartlett, Stephanie Fanslow, Mallorie Fanslow, and Anthony Gallo, and a treasured great-grandmother to Laila Augirre, Antione Cross, Arianna Cross, and Oakley Bartlett. 
Mary was a fond aunt, great aunt, and a treasured friend to many, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Mary will be greatly missed.
