Patricia Ann Loran, a dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, peacefully departed this world on July 16, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on July 30, 1933, Patricia lived a life filled with love, dedication, and a profound commitment to her family and community.

Patricia was the loving wife of the late Michael Lee Loran and the daughter of the late Nettie Ordman. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Lee Ann Brooks (David) and Nancy Patricia Kraus (Jim), who carry on her legacy with grace and strength. As a grandmother, Patricia’s heart knew no bounds; she was blessed with four grandchildren, Meagan Lee Stone (Doug), Stanley F. Schultz III, Eric M. Schultz (Gabriela), and James Edward Brooks, each of whom brought her immense joy. Her role as a great-grandmother expanded her family’s affection further, welcoming Roselyn Schultz, Ethan Gabino, Lily and Nina Schultz. Along with David, Derek, Dylan, and Drew Stone, and Lincoln and Madelynn Brooks into her life.

An era of Patricia's life was also enriched by her sister, Lois Jayne LaPaglia, with whom she shared countless memories. She was not just a sister, grandmother, great grandmother and mother, but also an aunt and a friend to many who knew her, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.

Patricia held a deep passion for gardening, where her nurturing nature flourished, as she lovingly tended to her plants and flowers, creating beauty in her surroundings. Her love for reading allowed her to explore new worlds and ideas, enriching both her mind and spirit. An active member of Saint Paul Evangelical Church, Patricia contributed to her community with unwavering devotion, supporting her church family and engaging in the life of the parish.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Patricia's life at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral and Crematorium, located at 9568 Belmont Ave, Franklin Park, Illinois. A visitation will take place on July 22, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a prayer service beginning at 6:30 PM. The interment will occur on July 23, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Fairview Memorial Park, 900 N Wolf Rd, Northlake, Illinois. Meeting at Sax-Tiedemann at 9:30am for procession.

Patricia Ann Loran will be remembered for her unwavering love, gentle spirit, and the joy she brought to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those who remain.
