Beloved son of the late Paul and Grace Blassucci.
Devoted father to Deana Mirante (Joseph) and Joseph Blasucci (DeAnna).
Cherished grandfather to Ryan Domino, Joseph Mirante, Jr., Mia and Nicholas Blasucci.
Dear brother of Sandra D’Amico (Danny), Sharon Fletcher (Dave), Susan Torres (Tony), the late James Blasucci, and Michael Blasucci (Debbie).
Paul grew up in Chicago and had very fond memories of his childhood home on School Street with his parents and 5 siblings, which he said were the best times of his life.
He was a gifted mechanic and a talented craftsman, working for many years at Al Piemonte Ford in Melrose Park prior to his long career at O’Hare Airport, working on flight support vehicles.
Paul could fix anything.
He was an avid coin collector, he enjoyed obtaining historical coins with his son Joe and being able to teach his grandchildren about them.
He enjoyed fishing and had fond memories of fishing with his father and his children.
Most of all, Paul cherished his children and grandchildren.
His greatest enjoyment was watching his grandchildren play and grow.
He will be greatly missed.
