Richard Shivley, Sr.

Richard Shivley Sr., beloved husband for 39 years to the late Jane Mary Jaeger, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2021.
He was the loving father of Linda (Wayne) Clark, Phillip (Colleen), Richard Jr., the late Danny (Debi), Joe (Rhonda), Mary (Loren) Swenson, and Christopher.
Richard attended Senn High School in Chicago, Illinois, and the University of Illinois.
He proudly served with the United States Navy on the USS Franklin, as well as with the U.S. Coast Guard.
Richard was a proud member of the Ironworkers Local #63 for 35 years and a Radio Communications Officer for the Village of Schiller Park for 10 years.
Richard was an avid golfer who enjoyed golf trips, non-fiction historical novels, and time with his family along with being a diehard fan of the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Blackhawks and his beloved Green Bay Packers.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 14, 2021, from 9:00am to 11:00am at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home and Crematorium, 9568 Belmont Avenue Franklin Park, Illinois.
A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at 11:30am at St. John Vianney Church, 46 N. Wolf Road, Northlake, IL.
