Robert Lester Ronayne, 84
Passed away Tuesday, Nov 7, 2017 at The British Home in Brookfield, Il after a brief illness.
Robert is predeceased by his parents, Les and Betty Ronayne; and by his longtime partner of twenty years, Kathy Bachus.
Bob is survived by his brother Richard 'Dick' Ronayne. Uncle Bob is lovingly remembered by his niece Michelle Morin and her husband Lary, Vicky Bachus and other nieces, nephews and relatives.
Bob was born in Chicago, Il in 1934.
Graduated from Carl Schurz HS in 1952.
After graduation, Bob worked as a Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker with Local Union 73 until he retired.
Bob spent much of his time fishing and boating with friends in Boulder Junction, WI.
Bob sang his last song days before passing, Frank Sinatra's 'My Way'; which was the way he lived his life. A private memorial service was held.
