Robert A. Schafer (74) of River Grove passed away, Saturday, January 29. Beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Walman). Dear son of the late Adolf and Florence (nee Kline). Dear step-son of Marguerite Chrsitensen. Loving brother of Dorothy (the late Frank) Skinner. Dear "Uncle Bob" of nieces and nephews. Longtime member of River Grove Lions and River Grove Nationals. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Cyprian Church appreciated. Visitation Friday, 9-11:30 a.m. Mass Friday, 12 p.m. from Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home and Crematorium, 9568 Belmont Ave, Franklin Park, IL 60131 to St.Cyprian Church, River Grove. Cremation to follow.
