Roger E. Haynes Sr., 85, passed away September 19. Beloved husband of Virginia nee Noesges; loving father of Carol (Fritz) Goins, Donna (Ken) Werderitch, Jeri and Roger Jr. (Cheryl); dear grandfather of Michael, Marc, Kari, Eddie, and Cindy; cherished great-grandfather of five. Member of Franklin Park American Legion Post 974 for 45 years. Veteran of WWII and Korean War. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m. Service Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. from Sax Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9568 Belmont Ave., Franklin Park to Saint Maria Goretti Church for 10 a.m. mass.
