Ronald J. Smerz (71) passed away Saturday, October 22. Beloved Husband of Mary (nee Sciortino). Loving Father of Steven (Laurie), the late Thomas (Patricia), and the late Sandra (Clint) Horvath. Fond Grandfather of Amanda, Sarah, Jake, Paige, Andrea, Anthony, and Andrew. Dear Brother of Ruth Zych. Fond Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will begin to gather on Thursday from 2pm to 9pm at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9568 Belmont Ave Franklin Park. Service will be held at 8 pm.
