Ruth Anne Graziani-Gerstmayr

Ruth Anne Graziani-Gerstmayr, born on February 12, 1948, left this world on June 29, 2025 at the age of 77. She was a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and treasured friend to many. Ruth was the cherished wife of Paul Gerstmayr for over 20 years, and the daughter of the late Walter and Ann Burmeister. She was a loving mother to Joseph, Michael (Traci), Patric, and the late Sara, whose memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her, and a treasured aunt to Rebecca Burmeister and many more.

Ruth was a proud grandmother to Jason, Jillian, and Chase, and her legacy will continue through their lives. She shared a special bond with her siblings Walter and Robert, who have also passed, and her brother John (Jackie).

Her passions were as vibrant as her spirit. Ruth loved dancing, music, and arts and crafts with her nieces, Rebecca and Jaclyn, and her granddaughter. Her enthusiasm for life extended to her fondness for pigs, geisha dolls, and the joy she found in family parties, where laughter and love flourished. Ruth’s memory will continue to inspire and bring joy to her family and friends, reminding them of the simple pleasures and joys of life.

A memorial service in honor of Ruth will be held on July 12, 2025, starting at 1:00 to 5:00 PM, followed by a prayer service at 2:00 PM. Both services will take place at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral and Crematorium located at 9568 Belmont Ave, Franklin Park, IL 60131.
