Scott Gregory Ptacek passed unexpectedly, yet peacefully surrounded by family at his home on July 10, 2021.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Marylou.
He was the beloved father of Jeff (Sarah Solarz) Ptacek and Lyndsey (Matt Lytle) Ptacek.
Cherished Papa of Benjamin, John, Tommy, and Kelly.
His loving dog Shadow;
Beloved brother of Karen (Mickey), Jan (Dave), Glenn (Sue);
Uncle to many nephews and nieces;
Friend to countless others.
Scott retired from the Franklin Park Police Department after 30 years of faithful service to the community as a K-9 officer and patrolman.
