Socorro "Coco" Gonzalez born October 28, 1950 passed away on December 17, 2017. Beloved wife of Juan Gonzalez, whom she married September 20, 1969. Loving mother of Martha (Gregory) Kummer, Susana (Caleb) Olvera, Juan 'Fred' (Sarah) Gonzalez ., Sergio (Teresita) Gonzalez, Connie Gonzalez (Jason Gomez) and Jorge (Esther) Gonzalez.

Cherished grandmother of Aimee, Gregory 'JR', Valerie and Carlos Kummer; Aiden and Nadia Olvera; Paige, Leah, Hailey and Aaron Gonzalez; Iliana, Michael and Samuel Gonzalez; and Monica, Matthew and Abigail Gonzalez.

She was a beautiful wife, mother and grandmother that filled her home with unconditional love. A passionate and fearless woman full of life that fought till her last breath. She left us a legacy of her own unique values and traits that will be passed on from generation to generation. She may be gone from our sight but you are never gone from our hearts.

Visitation will take place at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home, 9568 Belmont Ave., Franklin Park, IL, on Thursday, December 21, from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM. On Friday, December 22, Socorro will be Lying In State at Iglesia Bautista Betel, 1315 W. Lake St., Bartlett, IL, from 7:00 AM until time of Service at 9:00 AM. Interment private.
