Throughout his life, Stas exemplified dedication and warmth, touching the hearts of those around him with his unwavering spirit and kind nature. As the beloved husband of Rhonda Kobus, Stas was a rock of love and support. Together, they built a beautiful family that was a testament to their shared commitment and devotion. He was a proud father to Jonathan(Maggie), David(Amy), and Steven Kobus, each of whom carries forward the legacy of love and resilience that Stas instilled in them.
His role as a grandfather was one he cherished deeply, with grandkids Angela, Logan, and Jonathan Kobus bringing immense joy and laughter to his life. Stas was born to the late Stanley J. Kobus and the late Helen Kobus, who nurtured his formative years with love and guidance. He took great pride in being a brother to Richard(Hattie) Kobus, whose bond was strengthened through countless shared memories and experiences. His professional life was marked by 34 years of dedicated service as a laborer for the city of Chicago with the Bureau of Electricity, where his hard work and commitment to community were always evident.
Stas' passion for classic cars was well known; he loved talking about his favorite models and sharing stories from his adventures in the car culture. Stas was not just a husband, father, and grandfather; he was also a fond uncle and cherished friend to many. His open heart and genuine kindness reached into the lives of countless individuals, creating connections that will endure.
He leaves behind not just memories but lessons of love, support, and joy, which will forever resonate within those who were fortunate enough to know him.
