Loving Father of Jacqueline (Steve) Anzelmo, Sharon (Brian) Young, and the late Ronald Thomas Zahlman (Liz Hamilton).
Proud Grandfather of Zachary Anzelmo, Tyler Anzelmo, and Veronica Young.
Beloved Son of the late Arthur and the late Marie (Smythe) Zahlman.
Caring Brother of Raymond Zahlman.
Fond Son in Law of the late Steve and the late Veronica Skonieczny.
Dear Brother in Law of Christine (the late Marvin) Garber.
Fun-loving Uncle of Cheryl, Denise and Danny.
Friend and Mentor to Many.
Longtime (50 year) resident of Franklin Park, IL who recently relocated to Naples, FL
Honored to be a Veteran of the National Guard.
Tom was a devoted family man, who adored his wife Gerry, and together they rejoiced in the accomplishments and activities of their children and grandchildren.
He was a pillar of the Franklin Park community, having a passion for youth sports. He impacted the lives of many, serving as President and coach for Franklin Park Boys Baseball and Girls Softball, and Commissioner and coach of Jets House League Hockey for many years. He will always be remembered for his spirited sense of humor, magnetic charisma, and his gift of gab.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM.
Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery immediately following the mass.
