age 99  longtime resident of Melrose Park IL passed away peacefully April 15, 2020 at Generations Oakton Pavilion in Des Plaines, IL.

She was born April 27, 1920 in Chicago to the late Ben and Mary Nemer.

Beloved wife of the late Raymond Carrion, Sr..

Loving mother of Curt (Susan) Carrion, Deborah (Daniel) Billings, Raymond (Lesley) Carrion Jr., and Susan Taylor.

Proud Grandmother of eight and Great-Grandmother of seven.

Cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Dearest sister of Grace (late Richard) Dossing, Rev. Lawrence "Larry" Nemer, SVD., the late Leonard Nemer, the late Elmer (late Harriet) Nemer, the late Dolores (late James) Parks, and the late Leona Broeski.

Dearest sister-in-law of the late Henry (late Bernice) Carrion, the late Dolores (late George) Watt.

A memorial and celebration of life will be planned for Virginia the future.

Virginia's greatest joy was bringing her family together. She was the loving center for so many.

Since we cannot gather at this time - please take a minute or two to remember and honor Virg by softly singing "Let me Call You Sweetheart" - she will hear us and we all will be together.
