William Lutz

April 30, 1929 — November 30, 2010

William F. Lutz Passed away peacefully on November 30th at the Manteno Veterans Home. He is survived by his beloved wife Jean nee Marema, and his children, William, Jr. (Gaye) Lutz, Michael Lutz, Mark (Zhijian) Lutz, and Michele Olszewski. He will be missed by his grandchildren Lisa (Michael) McConnell, Kyle Olszewski and Ryan Olszewski, and great grandchildren Austin and Christian McConnell. William was preceeded in death by his brother Edward John (Vicki) Lutz. He was the proud uncle of many. Bill was the former owner of the Leyden Autobody Shop, had been a NASCAR Race driver for many years, and an avid golfer. He proudly served his country during World War II with the U.S. Navy. Bill also was a huge sports fan, cheering on his favorite beloved Blackhawks and the Chicago Bears. He will be missed by many. Visitation Sunday from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friends and family will gather at 9:00 A.M. on Monday at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium 9568 Belmont Ave. Franklin Park for a Service beginning at 10:00 A.M.
