Dean Netisingha, aged 41, passed away on November 7th, 2021 at his home in Champaign IL.
Dean was born on April 13, 1980 to parents Wanlapar Hadamik (Suntikul) and Precha Netisingha in Chicago, IL. He is a much loved family member of; The Chaemchaengs, The Jarupats, The Netisinghas, The Suntikuls, The Maktaveesubs, and The Yaus.
Dean was a genuinely kind deep soul with a big heart and gentle demeanor that was admired by those who knew and loved him. He was street wise and had a laugh that was soft and real.
He had a life long connection to music and felt most free while dancing. He was a creative artist who drew whimsical scenes with inspirational quotes that invited viewers to smile and find hope through difficult times.
"Often it's the deepest pain which empowers you to grow into your highest self."
He dedicated time to helping others who struggled with substance abuse and was passionate about helping those who had suffered with their inner demons much like he had. His stoicism revealed that he had endured a difficult past but his drawings and kindness showed that he was hopeful.
He was active in the recovery community in Champaign IL and his empathy for those who were battling addiction inspired him to seek a career in addiction recovery. He mentored and supported others as they sought to find purpose and hope, guiding them through the process and offering wisdom from his own life experiences.
He had a gift for listening without judgement and making people feel instantly comfortable. He had grown so much through his experience and helped so many. The fact that he will no longer be able to share this gift with the world is a true loss for the entire community.
Dean was happiest when he was with his daughter Olivia. He was so proud to be her father and loved her deeply with all of his heart.
"Love to live ... live to love." Dean lived to love.
He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his mother, Wanlapar Hadamik, his older brother, Dennis, and younger sister, Pam, as well as his extended family and abundance of friends.
