Jesusan Rosales

September 27, 1956 — April 13, 2021

Jesusan Rosales, also known to many as Delia, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.  She was born to the late Nicolas Dela Pena and Josefina Bolo on September 27, 1956.

Delia grew up in Manila, Philippines.  She married her first and only boyfriend, Chito Rosales in 1973.  While Chito worked as a sailor, Delia was in Manila balancing work and raising children.  When her mother passed away, she took on the role of caring for her 3 siblings and their respective families. She migrated to the United States in 1999 but continued to provide support and guidance to her families in the Philippines.  She was a devoted, fun-loving and beloved wife, mom, grandmother, aunt and friend.  She will be greatly missed.

Delia is survived by her husband Chito, her daughter Chidelle and husband Hector, son Luisito Jr and wife Vanessa, daughter Christeen and partner Michael.  She is also survived by her sisters Cora and Gigi, and her brother Jun; grandchildren Bryan, Miguel and Jake.

Her family shares this sentiment: "Mom, you have given us so much and asked for so little in return. Thank you for always being there for us, for teaching us, listening to us, helping and forgiving us, loving us and always, always paving the way for us. We will work hard to reach the standard you set. Farewell sweet mommy. You were simply magnificent."
