Beloved husband of the late Grace.

Loving father of Marlene (the late Rich) Bacha, Lois (Kurt) Neilsen, and Cathy Jo (Dan) Hodge.

Cherished grandfather of Bret (Lauren), Erik (Lauren), Michael (Stacey), Kendal (David), Joseph (Kristen), Katie Jo (Drew), and Kristen (Chris).

Fond great grandpa of Avery, Danny, Jemma, Raegan, Brooke, Annabelle, Joseph, Maylee, Clara, Ryker, Finley, Audrey, Gracelynn, and Ember Rae.

Son of the late Joseph Castellenti Sr. and Mildred (Harry) Potier.

Dear brother in law of the late Buddy & Fran Pennella & the late Joseph Penella. Uncle of many.

Joseph was also a pet grandpa to Molly, Zoe, Jed, Sam, Lily, Oscar, Sean, Bailey, and Sluggo.

Joseph was a member of the  VFW Post# 3579, The Loyal Order of the Moose Portage Park Lodge, and the Schiller Park Sertoma Club.

He also was very active with the Rosemont Health and Fitness Club and really loved gardening.

Joseph will be lying in state at St. Beatrice Maria Goretti Parish on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 9:15 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am
