Patricia Hoth

Patricia “Patt” Hoth passed peacefully in the late hours of May 1, 2022.

Born March 27, 1940, in Chicago to Bernice and Dominick “Sonny” Cafferata, she joins them in heaven along with her brother, Edward; her best friend and former husband, Ron Hoth; niece Kathi, and many family and friends.

She is survived by her dear sister, Dolores “Dee” Pinzker.

Patt was a loving mother to her daughters Lisa Lucca (Mark Mathias) and Denise Hoth, and a devoted grandmother to Zachary Dalton.
She was a beloved aunt to Kris, Nancy, Jennifer, Melissa, Jason, Leanna, Sandy, Karen, her “buddy” Madison, and great-aunt and great-great aunt to many nieces and nephews.

A lifelong resident of the Chicago area, Patt was loved by the many friends she had for decades through her 25-year career at Dominick’s Finer Foods corporate office, PWP, the Willows of Elmhurst, and most recently, Sunrise Senior Living in Lombard.

Patt loved shopping, decorating her home, family parties, good food, her favorite TV programs, and coffee-klatching with her friends. Her outgoing, fun-loving personality will be remembered by all who knew and loved her, and she will be deeply missed.

A memorial to celebrate Patt’s life will be held at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home on May 22, 2022 from 11am - 2pm.
